Im Abschlusstraining vor dem Spiel bin ich unglücklich umgeknickt und hatte – wenn man die Intensität des Umknickens betrachtet – noch Glück, dass keine Bänder gerissen sind. Sofort wurde mein Fuß dick, sowohl innen als auch außen. Das lässt darauf schließen, dass Innen- und Außenbänder betroffen sind.
Aber deswegen zum Arzt gehen?
Diese Art von Verletzung hatte ich schon viel zu oft als dass ich deswegen wieder einen halben Tag Urlaub nehmen und 10€ Praxisgebühren zahlen würde. Ich beschloss mich selbst um die Verletzung zu kümmern und legte mir jeden Morgen einen Verband an, der mir die Anfangsschmerzen erträglicher machte und meinen Knöchel stabilisierte. Unter den Verband jeden Morgen und jeden Abend Voltaren-Salbe auftragen und zusätzlich ebenfalls zwei mal täglich Diclac-Schmerztabletten einnehmen. Und schon sieht und verspürt man täglich Fortschritte und Besserung.
Bereits nach einer Woche konnte ich mit Hilfe einer Bandage wieder trainieren. Zugegeben für die Bandage legt man ordentlich Geld auf den Tisch. Aber sie stabilisiert den Knöchel und alles was außenrum liegt derart gut, dass ich schon in diesem ersten Training alle Übungen mitmachen und am darauf folgenden Spieltag spielen konnte.
